Monty, Elaine & Wayne, we were so saddened to learn of Betty's death. When she came to visit your Mother (Mrs. Ward), I sometimes got a chance to see her. They liked to have fish when she came home and sometimes Jerry would clean the fish for them. We will keep you in our prayers during this difficult time and in the days ahead.

Monty, Elaine, Wayne, and all other family, my prayers are with each of you. God had a plan all along, and now Betty is free from the pain that was associated with her illness. Although we will miss her deeply, we can rest assured that she is looking down on us with a smile :-)

I would like to think that I would always have the faith and courage that Betty has shown to others in the past few years. She was such a strong person and truly a fighter. I will never forget the many memories that we made while "running around" in Pinehurst and Unadilla and the times that I spent the night in her home in Unadilla. She was always such a good friend to me. Just know that all of you have my deepest sympathy and you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Monty, I'm so sorry that Betty is gone. She was such a vibrant person and attracted people like a magnet. I'll never forget our trip to Paris! Hope she doesn't make good on her promise to haunt us. Love ya, friend!

Sorry to hear of Betty's passing. She put up an awesome battle with cancer and is healed at last. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of Betty’s death. My deepest sympathy to her family. Betty was a friend, classmate and a member of Unadilla High School basketball team. I remember one Thanksgiving our teacher asks the class for what were we most thankful. Betty’s reply “I am thankful that I can be thankful for what I have”. It made a deep impression and I reference it often, always remembering Betty.
